So far there has been such a great summer here. A few weeks of really hot weather and at that time all you want to do is to spend it at the beach… or on a roof top. The one we have here is so nice, it’s huge, green and full of nice neighbors :)

I spent many mornings and afternoons there in the sun, writing and getting tanned. One of the best features about it that I can bring along my own cappuccino and lunch. One afternoon I had there was when I wrote Rooftop Blogging.

Speaking of the rooftop veranda, the fire last week, it was here it started. The wooden floor caught fire, don’t know why. So we had a big alarm and everyone had to get out. Fire department came and the police, we were left standing outside in the rain for a few hours. Fortunately nobody was hurt and the firemen killed the fire.

This summer, me and my husband got the chance to explore the restaurants here, in this neighborhood there are lots of fantastic cooking. We tried french, spanish tapas and Caribbean actually. It was my first time on Caribbean food, and it was so good I couldn’t believe it! The waiter was dressed like a true carribean too, that was cute, did a lot for the whole experience.

Now a few days have been rainy and grey, but as I sit here I can se the sun-beams coming and the blue sky emerging. Isn’t that something?! :D
