Here in Oslo it’s been a long winter…
It’s been much more snow and cold weather than I ever expected! Except from the extreme cold at times, snow is always fine by me. In fact snow is much better than all the rain which usually comes during the winter season. Anyway enough about winter.
Spring is here! I’ve seen the first white and purple flowers outside and I’m finally wearing my favorite black leather jacket. Feels great that the sun is back here again!
Something else which is great is that I got flowers at work! It was my darling husband who showed up with flowers, coffee and a cute face. It was such a perfect timing, because only moments before I felt so tired and almost a bit mad. But all that disappeared the second I saw him standing there with the flowers. Who doesn’t love the sight of a man bringing flowers? I know I do…
Because of the wonderful past few days of spring weather here, we have decided to do a barbecue tomorrow on the rooftop of our house. That will be so much fun! The preparations for the food is already finished so when I get off work tomorrow we will begin at once.
Earlier today I’ve marinated some potatoes with spices, garlic and oil. It will be very interesting to see how they will turn out, never done them quite like that before. When I open our refrigerator tonight there is huge smell of garlic, it’s coming from the potatoes I guess
Oh well, this has been a great day but now it’s time for bed. Listening to Sade – The Moon And The Sky, from the Solder Of love Album. Slow, cozy music will do the trick for turning in.

great to see you back. I have some beautiful spring pics I would love to share with you. Our seasons seem to flow the same. I woulldnt have guessed that.
I love roasted garlic. cut the top of the bulb off leaving about 3/4 of the bulb. take a knife and separate the bulbs a little. sprinkle with pepper, spice/herb of your choice.. I like the original emeril mixture, sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese the pour a small amount of olive oil over it. I like basil oilive oil. put is a shallow dish and cover with foil. bake in the oven 400 til slightlly browned.. about 45 mins. about!!!… I put the to part along side of the bulb and coat them also. they come out very crisp and are like garlic nuts. I love those. I cut the paper to release the garlic and use a fork to pop them out. you can spread them, mix them in pasta or eat alone which is what I do.
this is so good for you also. I hope u try this.
Hugs
Ang
P.s., glad to see you back.

It is popular to have a grill on Midsummer’s Eve (23 June) to usher in the other side of the summer. A lot of schools have little wooden huts in the playground with a BBQ inside so they can grill all year round.
