Last night was fantastic! We made a barbecue on the rooftop of our house in the sunset… :) Romantic? Yes. Tasty? Oh yes! We grilled potatoes, a huge piece of meat and some tomatoes and paprika. It’s amazing how fire and smoke can cook food in such an delicious way!

We had a really sweet red wine too, suited especially for grilled meat. This day it was spring weather, sunny and a bit chilly. Then you need to pull closer to the fire which is soo cozy to do. With hot flames of fire in front of us we are in true BBQ mode…

I’m so happy I did the barbecue preparations a head, no stress, just grab everything and get going. We are so lucky to have this rooftop at our house. :)

And if you forget something, no problem, you can just go down stairs to get what you need. Well no suprices there because we forgot something and had to go get it. Hehe! We forgot the little red portable Ipod speaker. It’s perfect to bring along on a barbecue. Just plug in the Ipod and we can play all the music we want!

After having such a great evening we had a good nights sleep, and in the morning after I woke up full of energy after being outdoors. Love when that happens! So go on and make a barbecue, you won’t regret it :)
