Here in Scandinavia (Norway and Sweden) we have so much snow right now, I have to show you what it is like! I went for a walk in the woods with my sister, niece and a friend. The trees were covered with heavy snow as we arrived to the trail.
Truth is that I used to live next to this forest, and I spent a lot of time exercising there. This was in summer a few years ago, but I’m still feeling very much at home in it
In the middle of nowhere we decided to have a cup of coffee my friend had brought with her. That tasted fantastic in the cold…
With the coffee cup in our hands we could also get some heat for our cold fingers. I think the temperature dropped to -12º C which is about 10.4 ºF.
When we had finished up our coffee my friend poured her cup into the now, then by accident the coffee formed a heart in the snow! That was so cool, I just had to take a picture of it.
During our little walk I taught my niece how to take pictures with my camera, just gave a her a few instructions and she was a “professional” photographer.
She took pictures of the three of us, that’s to say: me, my sister and our friend. That was so sweet, I’m so proud of her!
Moments like these are the best you can have. It can be so much fun! A simple walk in the seasonal landscape with good conversations and friends, that’s a good recipe…
The smart thing one can do is to cherish those moments as much as possible!
Make time to relax and laugh with friends and family, it will help you to reduce the everyday stress and you will enjoy your life even more
