Polymer clay creation

Think it’s amazing how a creation can emerge from a block of polymer clay. Recently I had some tries with making my own polymer clay beads, it was so fun!

Together with my niece I made beads, and she made art pieces of her own… :) They turned out to be really cool refrigerator magnets.

I gave her an acrylic rod and these tools. They are great for kids and non sticky on the clay. And then she had lots of colorful clay of course. We had decorations as well, little rhinestones and eyes.

The same day I made the red polymer clay pendant in this tulip necklace from the gallery.

When you add polymer clay creations like beads or pendants to your jewelry designs, it’s like blowing air to the hot coals on your bonfire, it gives fire to your piece.

Here you have several projects to try out, both on beads and pendants:

Let me show you my nieces polymer creations. They’re real cool huh? It’s interesting that kids always know what do to. Just give them a crayon, they will make a drawing you never saw before.. :) Or give them a piece of clay and they will turn up with something looking like it came from outer space. What a creative spirit! I like that! We have much to learn from the all too sweet children.
