Men’s Beaded Necklaces

This project started out so great, and then my husband dropped my bead board just as I had beaded 2 of the 3 necklaces… And of course I hadn’t put on my bead stoppers! (I always do!)

We did have a crazy moment trying to find them around the house and in the fluffy carpet they fell into! And as you know, those carpets can become nightmares for us beaders…  Anyways, no harm done. We did find all the beads and I could finish what I started. :)

He wanted several necklaces which he could wear both together and one and one. So with that in mind I assembled these three.

Jack Sparrow with Beads

Not all guys are daring enough to try beaded necklaces, but I have to say that I love that on guys! And I mean it’s nothing to be afraid of, even Captain Jack sparrow has beads in his hair… ;)

Classic men’s jewelry like rings or chains are always neat on a man but beaded jewelry is getting more and more popular. The amazing feeling comes from making it chunky, for instance combining several chains together or lots of beaded necklaces. You get the same result with a number of bracelets on the arm wrist.

If you bead the necklaces or bracelets at the same time you can easily see how they will work together. With some clothes only one single beaded necklace might be perfect.

Sometime ago I made a black and brown necklace for my husband and now he has almost worn it out, so he was thrilled when I gave him his three new necklaces, exclaiming that he is going to use these all the time!

I’m happy it turned out so well and that all the necklaces was like what he had imagined.

    Hi Zarah,

I really love your Jack Sparrow inspired beaded necklaces! Of course I really love Johnny Depp as well! It is nice to see designs for men as most designers shy away from this market. The beads and colors you chose were fantastic for the pieces. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful designs.

    Warmest Wishes.

    Hi Duchess!

Thank you so much for your input on the Jack Sparrow necklaces! You’re right, designing for men is not big enough yet. But maybe it will evolve in time, I look forward to that a lot! :)
    Best regards and welcome back!
