Just wanted to tell you about some exciting changes I’ve made to the blog recently.
During the last 6 months I’ve had a huge increase in traffic on the blog, which of course if very fun! But… there is only a VERY small percentage of my visitors that write any comments, despite the fact that a lot of people stay for a long time and read several posts.
Since I really appreciate your feedback on my blogand on my work, and enjoy connecting with you all, I would like to improve on that
So, to get more comments on my posts I have made the following changes:
Top Commentators
I have added a widget on the sidebar which shows the top commentators, with a link to their websites. The counter is reset every month so this is a great way for you to get some exposure for your own blog or website.
Comment Luv
I also found this very cute wordpress plugin called comment luv, which grabs the latest post from your blog (if you enter a URL in the form when commenting) and adds a link to it at the bottom of your comment.
Do Follow
And last but not least, I removed all the nofollow tags in all comment links, which means that each comment on byZarah.com with your URL in it will boost your search engine ranking. Very Good for SEO purposes
Honestly, I did not do all of this myself but got some advice and help from my husband (http://hassellof.com). After all, what are husbands for if not to help out with the technical stuff?
If you have your own WordPress blog and would like to have the plugins, you can find them here:

It is so nice to hear that you have alot of support from your husband. there are few men that support or care. It looks like you got one of the good ones. My sister did to. He’s very patient and understanding. Wonderful guy.
Congrats on expanding your site. I’m so glad that you have interest and have alot of visitors. I always enjoy your work and your descriptions and advice are very helpful.
Thanks for a good job well done

Hi Zarah !
I like this very much!
I have been busy lately and haven’t posted to you in a few weeks.
Here in the USA we have Thanksgiving Holiday on the day after tomorrow and my oldest grand child (she is 5) has been with me all week. Sigh..such a joy!
During this time of year we tend to think more of the things and people in our lives that we are thankful for.
I want to thank you for sticking with this blog and showing the world your talent and being so much help. I also want to thank your wonderful supportive husband for helping you make the new changes.

I’m looking forward to your future input on everything. Do try the hair pieces, they’re really fun to make. Not to mention the reward of seeing your daughter wearing them and looking cute
