I am back home! It’s so nice to se my home country again. I’ve missed it so much! Can’t believe what a big difference it is between Oslo, Norway and Sweden. One thing is that Sweden is all about systems, there is a good system for everything. In Norway things are much more relaxed, and systems aren’t as important. As long as something works, even if it doesn’t work very well, it’s fine. That can be surprising for me sometimes, since I’m much more used to the neat Swedish systems.
Something else which I have thought about is how people dress in general. In Sweden you always dress after occasion, when you go out you are party-dressed and when you have business meetings you dress more strict. Norway is much more laid back, many people wear the same kind of relaxed clothes whatever they do. For example the same clothes for shopping groceries as they wear for work.
Relaxing and having a good time
Anyway I’m in Sweden right now and enjoying it like no other!
Spending time with family and relatives as well that has been very nice. We have been playing games, taking walks and eating good food together.
I also went to IKEA today, that is always so fun. Lots of cool and inexpensive things there for decorating any house or apartment. I found some super cute bonsai trees, and they were huge! I can’t bring it with me right it now because I’m traveling by bus so i’ll buy one of these when I get back to Oslo.

It’s always fun to hear about your adventures in another country. Thanks for sharing this. What a beautiful pic of the snow. What made you want to move to Oslo anyway or maybe that is to personal. I would love to be able to share some pics with you from here. Maybe we should figure out how to do that. I have wonderful snow pics, frozen fog. (omg) and ice on the trees.
Have a wonderful time with your family and friends and be safe in your travels back home

Angela, don’t worry it’s not too personal
I moved to Oslo and Norway because of work. My husband got a great job as chief security officer at a norwegian company, so we gave it a shot and moved. Oh, I would love to see pictures from where you are!!
