Check this out! I’m so excited, found a marvelous epoxy glue made especially for jewelry making. It’s called “New Ferido Epoxy Adhesive” and the possibilities of usage is endless!
This two-part epoxy adhesive molds like clay and can be rolled, sculpted, inlaid or set with foil-backed crystals and gemstones for a custom jewelry design.
Ferido Epoxy Adhesive features:
- Cures without heat in 5-10 hours.
- Adheres to metals, gemstones, plastic, glass, wood, brick and cement.
- Can be formed into drops, beads and focal pieces.
- Made for setting foil-backed stones like chatons.
- After cured, can be drilled, filed and painted.
- At least 75 min working time.
It’s easy to embellish existing jewelry pieces, since the curing process doesn’t need heat. A little goes a long way, only a thin strip is needed to apply to surfaces and adhere gemstones and rhinestones.
You can even form the epoxy into beads and then embed gemstone chips right on top of them! Very cool! Here is an example.
50 gram (1 package) contains enough epoxy to create an amazing amount of jewelry projects! Good Step-by-step instructions are included.
Here you have some design ideas for what you can do with Ferido Epoxy Adhesive.
