Wanted to show you my bead designs notebook, one of the best things ever to have! Especially if you’re like me, always getting beading design ideas when I’m doing other things… Like shopping or reading a magazines etc.
That’s not so bad…unless you’re out of paper and pen, and at the same time getting the coolest visions! You don’t wanna miss that! Did it a million times and then regretting all my lost marvelous designs. It’s like being interrupted in your designing development…
So what do you do? Get a nice notebook you really love, both by the appearance and the feeling of it is important. I think handmade ones are best. It’s supposed to be “alive”, just like your design ideas.
With this bead designs notebook you can write down any ideas, draw them at the same time. It’s a great idea is to have blank pages without lines in it.
It’s such a relieve to have all your designing ideas at the same place! Whenever you’re in the mood for beading you can just open the book, and the inspiration will open up to you.

great idea. I have designs running in my head alot. I like abstract designs and I’m coming up with things all the time in my head. I like abstract paintings and i have thought about trying to recreate them into metal clay. i cant wait to get home and start trying things. I have alot of gems and cabachons. I have to learn which I can use and which I cant. I can wire wrap some. alot have to be set. I don’t want to ruin them in experimenting. do you have suggestions for gems.
Sounds nice! I’m excited only by hearing all about your gemstones. Do you want to fire the gemstones with the metal clay? As for abstract designs, I love that too. Hoping to make more of that in my pmc projects.
